Ravensburger finally dropped the full Hyperia City package — and if you’ve been eyeing that Set 14 booster box on our shelf, this is the “okay, lock it in” moment.
Announced Sep 22, 2026, Disney Lorcana: Hyperia City is the next main set: a metro-fantasy city where glimmers hit street performances, shops, and nightlife. The big IP drop is Disney and Pixar’s Coco — Miguel and Héctor as Street Musicians, Un Poco Loco as a Song, Pepita, and a whole Marigold District vibe. Returning favorites (Disney Princesses, Mickey, and more) share the skyline with districts like City Center, Wandering Straits, Old Towne Hyperia, and the M.A.G.I.C. academy (yes, that’s where Big Hero 6’s Honey Lemon is messing with the new tech).
That tech is the set’s one focused mechanic: ink drops. They’re one-time-use ink counters you can spend to play cards from hand or power up specific abilities. Lead designer Lukas Litzsinger’s pitch is simple — ink drops can flip the tempo of a game. For Illumineers who felt recent sets were “too many new toys at once,” Hyperia City is deliberately built around mastering one tool.

Product-wise, expect the usual kit: booster packs / displays, Illumineer’s Trove (8 packs + dice + lore counter), and Prerelease Boxes with an exclusive poster + promo. Enchanted cards lean into “night on the town” energy; the two Iconics called out so far are Mickey Mouse – Best in Town and Cinderella – Unintentional Icon.

Dates to put on your calendar (PH shops will track the same window):
• Prerelease: October 16, 2026 (LGS + select Disney Parks/stores)
Everywhere release: October 23, 2026
Looking further out (for the planners): Into the Inkdark (early 2027) adds collector boosters with serialized Illustrious cards (6 per set, only 23 copies each), then Cosmic Quest in Spring 2027 (WALL·E / EVE debut teased). Cool roadmap but Hyperia City is the next table you’ll actually sit at.
At Rift Vault we’ll be taking Hyperia City interest seriously: preorder the booster box if you want sealed certainty, or talk to us about prerelease plans once local seats firm up. New mechanic + musical Coco package is exactly the kind of set that fills a Friday night table in Olongapo.
